Description
English: South view from Landsort lighthouse towards the south part of the island Öja (know as Landsort) and the historic Landsort battery built in the 1930s. The battery was armed with three former shipguns mod. 98, a command bunker and anti-aircraft Bofors guns. The battery was one of almost 50 batterys in the so called coastline chain (Havsbandslinjen) in Stockholm archipelago was built 1936 - 1943. It was replace by the new 12 cm ERSTA-battery in the 1970s.
