Português: A formação da camada iônica C poderia causada pela foto-dissociação do oxigênio molecular pela radiação solar Lyman-α no amanhecer e/ou pela interação dos gases atmosféricos da região com os raios cósmicos. A atmosfera na altitude de 50~70 km, tem comportamentos dinâmicos e variáveis, dentre estes, as correntes de convecção causadas por variações de temperatura na estratosfera, podem ter papel importante no comportamento da região. Grandes variações nas correntes aéreas da atmosfera causadas pelas oscilações do efeito Coriolis, conforme a latitude faz oscilar a concentração de NO na região atmosférica e causa variações da densidade eletro-iônica. |
