Description
Русский: 2-я Псковская летопись. Факсимильная копия первого листа Синодального списка, датируемого концом 15 века. Вступление псковского летописца и фрагмент Начальной Летописи - лето 6362 от сотворения мира, основание Киева.
English: A 19th century facsimile copy of the first verses of the 2nd Pskov Chronicle (the w:en:Primary Chronicle): chronist's introduction in red and the legendary foundation of Kiev by Kiy, Schek and Khoriv in the year 6362 from Creation (854 AD) in blue.
Date Source chronicle handwritten in late 15th century script; not later than 1510. - Псковские летописи. Т. 2. М., 1953. с. 4. Printed facsimile edition, which is reproduced here, was published in series in 1841-1862.

English: The text, more or less common to all East Slavic chronicles, is attributed to semi-legendary w:en:Nestor the Chronicler; surviving copies, separated from their source by many centuries, were edited, glossed or amended by countless anonymous scribes. This page is a facsimile edition of the so-called Synode Copy of the 2nd Pskov Chronicle. Modern cursive text belongs to the 19th century publishers (contains bibliographical references).
