Description
English: Pictured is Tedworth House an Army-led Personnel Recovery Centre delivered by Help for Heroes that ensures wounded, injured and sick personnel, veterans, and families, have access to the key services and resources needed to help them return to duty or make a smooth transition into an appropriately skilled civilian life.

It opened Autumn 2012.

The centre provides residential accommodation for 56 people and has the further capacity for a further 30 day attendees. In addition to the accommodation wings, facilities include: • A state of the art sports complex including a Swimex and Skiplex. The Skiplex is one of only two in the UK. • A wellbeing therapy centre • Social areas • Support Hub housing a collection of welfare agencies and charities to offer advice and support.

The operating costs for the centre are funded by Help for Heroes with a significant contribution from their principle partner The Royal British Legion. Help for Heroes has committees to fun and lead the delivery of centre.

The MoD has owned Tedworth House since 1897 when it was acquired along with Salisbury Plain training area. It was leased to Help for Heroes in 2011.
