- Seems like a good idea, could it also add the missing
Category:Uploaded with UploadWizard
? Liamdavies (talk) 08:17, 25 July 2013 (UTC)- support, after successful test run. As
Category:Uploaded with UploadWizard
is not really a beloved category , I wouldn't make it a requirement, but I wouldn't object either, if Rainer would add that function. --Isderion (talk) 22:25, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- support, after successful test run. As
- I do not think we need a bot for adding Category:Uploaded with UploadWizard to files as in here. --Jarekt (talk) 10:22, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
- It's ridiculous. If you come here, someone else does it before, if you don't you are reported to COM:AN. I will simply start the bot now, please block it without autoblock if it causes serious trouble. -- Rillke(q?) 08:44, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
If there are no objections, I think bot status should be granted. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:38, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
Removal of broken redirects
Q: Why did you remove the redirect from my userpage?
A: Because interwiki redirects do not work and they clutter our list of broken redirects and making our scripts creating pages on commons like "commons/w:de:User:Y". However, if you do not agree with the template left by the script, you can use {{SOFTREDIRECT}} which looks similar to a real redirect.
I also run scripts under this account. They run attended and in Browser. So it's per defintion not a bot and do not need such a flag.
- Process broken redirects in user(-talk) NS - remember, it is reading from HTML
