Location of Lintel with a cross.jpg?
[edit]Hi @Owenglyndur and welcome at Wikimedia Commons! I've just stumbled over the file Lintel with a cross.jpg and tried to refine the categories (since "Archaeological sites" is a veeeery broad classification...). Am I right to assume that the lintel is part of the Khirbet Beit Sila site? I would be very glad about a short confirmation or rejection. Thanks a lot and have a nice day! Horvat Eleq == Category:Khirbet Alek?
[edit]Another question: Is the site of Horvat Eleq identical with the location Khirbet Alek? Based on the similarity, i would assume yes (and merge the commons categories). Fl.schmitt (talk) 10:42, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- I guess so, i can be sure only for the pictures i uploaded. The one under the name Khirbet Alek seem to be from the same place Owenglyndur (talk) 10:57, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- Great, thanks again - now the categories are merged, collecting all available photographs of that place in one location. Additionally, the Wikidata item Horvat Eleq (Q125510198) now has complete metadata, links to external DBs and alternative name forms. Fl.schmitt (talk) 13:14, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help on that issue Owenglyndur (talk) 06:47, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
