English: A MEDICAL TREATISE

PROBABLY QAJAR IRAN, 19TH CENTURY

Comprising two complete maqalas on the muscles and on the nerves as well as discussions on other parts of the anatomy, Persian manuscript on white and blue paper, 38ff., each with 17ll. of cursory nasta'liq script, some words picked out in red, including 18 diagrams and five anatomical illustrations of the body, some folios lacking, possibly incomplete at beginning, not obviously dated or signed, in later brown morocco binding
