Title: VEB Malitex, Birgit Picker

Original historic description: 

ADN-ZB-Thieme-2.4.76-la-Bez. karl-Marx-Stadt: Höhere Produktivität erreichen die Werktätigen im VEB Malitex. Hohenstein-Ernstthal durch die Übernahme neuer Produktionskapazitäten. Facharbeiter Birgit Picker (l) qualifiziert sich gegenwärtig für ihre neue Tätigkeit in der Schärerei. Gemeinsam mit Lehrling Birgit Opitz wird sie durch die größere Arbeitsbreite an der neuen Malimo-Technik , mehr Malimo-Nähgewirke als bisher herstellen können. Insgesamt wollen die Werkätigen in diesem Jahr 4 Millionen qm Malimostoff mehr herstellen.
