Apple Pay

In addition to paying by Cards directly, you can now offer your customers ability to pay with Apple Pay when using supported Apple devices. With a simple ‘one touch’ authorisation process, and a streamlined checkout process, Apple Pay can help improve the customer experience and reduce abandonment rates rates.

Apple Pay is available via our Cashier API and Hosted Cashier platforms. Apple Pay transactions can be submitted to the same endpoints as your Card transactions.

The API end points and data (body) are very similar to card transactions and in most cases respects the documentation for cards applies to Apple Pay.  Where there is a divergence we have added supplementary documentation in this section.  Cancels, Captures, Refunds and Repeats have no sections here as there is no divergence.  Authorisations follow the same flow as Payments, being effectively the same process for Apple Pay.

For those using our Hosted Cashier Service there is very little work required to start taking Apple Pay payments.  For those using our API it is probably worth taking some time to read the Apple Pay documentation and understanding the process.  This will enable you to better understand how to integrate Pay360 and Apple Pay and which of our services will benefit your business.  You will find a number of links to Apple Pay documentation in our Getting started with Apple Pay section.

Getting Started with Pay360

If you’re already integrated into Pay360, then adding Apple Pay should prove to be fairly simple. If you’re new to Pay360, please read the ‘Getting Started’ section first.
