  • ajan indicates that a situation or activity continued or continues during the whole of a specified length of time. To refer to an unspecified period of time or to an event that happened or happens during a specified period but at an unspecified moment, aikana may be used.
  • This construction may be replaced with the accusative case if the definition of time period is exact in itself.
