  1. Sexual activity that minimizes the risk of spreading sexually transmitted disease, especially by the use of condoms.

Usage notes

This term is similar to safe sex, with safer substituted for safe, in order to indicate that the activity of sexual intercourse cannot be 100 percent safe.
