From Proto-Indo-European *h₃er- +‎ -ն- (-n-).

Verb

յառնեմ (yaṙnem)  (aorist indicative յարեայ)

  1. to rise, to arise, to get up, to rise or stand up, to rise again
    անդրէն յառնելandrēn yaṙnelto rise anew, to get up again
    յարեաւ միւս եւս խնդիրyareaw miws ews xndiranother question arose
    արի՛aríarise!
    օ՛ն արիքṓn arikʻget up!
    արի՛ք ընդառաջ նրանaríkʻ əndaṙaǰ nrango to meet him
