Hello there! I shall mostly be translating entries in English to modern Greek around here, and doing my bit for the community in general.

Please, do add requests for translations to various entries if a translation into a certain language feels important to you. Someone like me will look it up eventually and add it in.

Here are some “types” of words for which you should request translations, reader:

• Common words i.e. bathroom.
• Words that are derived from a certain language, like apostrophe, which is derived from Greek via French.
• Words that are important to the people that speak the language natively, such as trench foot, which happened to many soldiers in the colder trenches (and more) of the First World War.
• Words for which you would like a translation. This could be for use in, say, a novel you are writing or else!
