- Storage in a tank.
- 1961 August, “New traffic flows in South Wales”, in Trains Illustrated, page 494:
- A new ocean terminal, provided with modern tankage with a total capacity of nearly 8,000,000gal for the storage of fuel oil and refined petroleum products, was recently completed by the Regent Oil Co. at Queen Alexandra Dock, Cardiff.
- The amount that a tank (or tanks) can hold.
- The charge levied for storage in a tank.
- (agriculture) Waste matter from tanks, especially the dried nitrogenous residue from tanks in which fat has been rendered, used as a fertilizer.
