The 2011 Formula Three Sudamericana season was the 25th Formula Three Sudamericana season. It began on March 21, 2011 in Velopark, Nova Santa Rita and ended on October 30 in Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet.

While the largest number of champions in Formula 3 is of Brazilian drivers, the main record of the category is Argentine Gabriel Furlan. He competed in 132 races, won 37 times and started on pole position in 45 opportunities. Four-time category, marked also the 34th best lap throughout his career in competition. In its 25 year history, the Formula Three Sudamericana pilots have received from 18 countries, and teams from Argentina, Brazilian and Italian, besides the English Hitech Racing, which participates in the competition since 2010.[1]:

Race calendar and results
The provisional 2011 calendar consisted of nine meetings of which seven were due to take place in Brazil, A supports race to the Brasileiro de Marcas indicates a possible alliance of these two categories next year. This year the Formula Three will not score three points in the Brazilian Grand Prix.[2]:
The final schedule included two races outside of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, but will Piriápolis City Hall confirmed that he can not finish the work on improving the street circuit to the Sept. 30, a date that was reserved for the penultimate stage of the 2011 season. With this back to Londrina to be part of the calendar.
