The McGriddles is a breakfast sandwich sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain McDonald's. It is available in the American, Canadian, and Japanese markets.

Product description

The "standard" variant of the McGriddles sandwiches consists of bacon, egg and American cheese served on a small maple flavored pancake called a griddle cake. The top of the griddle cake is embossed with the McDonald's logo.

History

The McGriddles was first introduced in McDonald chains in 2003. The sandwich is often referred to as the "McGriddle".
