Note
- Airtel has acquired Telenor[3] and Tata Teleservices.[4]
- Vodafone and Idea have still not merged [5]
- Reliance Communications and MTS have completed merger. [6]
- A merger of state-owned telecom companies BSNL and MTNL is being mulled over by the Indian Government.[7]
- Reliance communications is shutting down its services and in many circles it has already stopped.[8]
