Season 1, Episode 5 of Star Trek: The Animated Series

After saving the pilot of a one-man scout ship from Klingons, he is beamed aboard, only to be the infamous Cyrano Jones of The Trouble With Tribbles fame. This time, the tribbles are supposed to be genetically altered to not reproduce, but they do end up growing extremely large. The Klingons, due to their hatred of tribbles, are anxious to get Cyrano Jones back due to the fact that he stole a creature they created - a predator that feeds on tribbles.
