Template:Unreviewed 'Matt 'NaDeSHoT' Haag Image = Matt 'NaDeSHoT' Haag is a 21 year old competitive Call of Duty player who is currently the objective player for OpTic Gamingin the 2014 Call of Duty:Ghosts season which is to be MLG's featured FPS game for the 2014 season. Matt 'NaDeSHoT' Haag is also considered as many to be America's favourite gamer and this is shown by his sponsorships with Red Bull, Astro Gaming and Scuf Gaming.

He has been a member of OpTic Gaming since 2010 when he first joined as the founder of the OpTic Gaming competitive team becoming the captain and picking up a squad however he was dropped by his team mates for the Call of Duty:Black Ops2011 season which was to be the first season of Call of Duty on the Major League Gamingsince Call of Duty 4: ModernWarfare. Haag was still a member of OpTic Gaming but instead of playing competitively he decided to focus on his YouTube Channel. However after a member of the OpTic Gaming team came down ill he was picked up at MLG Dallas where OpTic Gaming finished 3rd, even after impressing having not played competitively or practiced with the squad OpTic Gaming decided not to pick Haag up.

With [of Duty: Modern Warfare 3] looming, Call of Duty announced Call of Duty XP where Activison hoped to impress people by showing off their franchise whilst holding a $1 million dollar tournament. With 2 members of the OpTic Gaming team not being available to play Haag was picked up once again. They made it to the finals where they were to play a team from the UK but went into it as the favourites. They took the series 3-1 looking comfortable the whole way. Haag pocketed $100,000 as his team won $400,000 and the trophy. Again, Matt 'NaDeShoT' Haag was not picked up and MW3 did not make the [[1]] 2012 season much to Call of Duty competitive players disappointment; because of this not only a few tournaments were held (notably 360 iCoNs and EGL).

[[2]] were to make Call of Duty: Black Ops II which was to be the second game in the Call of Duty:Black Opsfranchise. The game was a success competitively and attratced a much bigger audience through the season. With Frag Cup 4 looming (an annual online tournament at the start of a new Call of Duty title) a member of the OpTic Gaming competitive team was not able to play due to a gambling law and after impressing early on in the game OpTic Gaming decided to pick up Haag and rejoin the OpTic Gaming competitive team on a permanent basis. They finished in the 3rd/4th positionin Frag Cup 4 before going to the first [[3]] event which was to be UMG Chicago. OpTic Gaming had a successful start to the tournament making it all the way to the final without lsing, they then lost the first series in the final but because they were the winners of the winners final it went into a final and decisive series which they were able to win 3-2 becoming the first ever Call of Duty:Black Ops champions. The next tournament was to be MLG Dallas where the top 8 teams would go on to compete at the Call of Duty Championships which was to become an annual $1,000,000 event. Haag and OpTic Gaming went onto finish in the 5th/6th position with a disappointing but qualifying for the biggest tournament of the year. Going into the Call of Duty Championships they were one of the top teams that were hoping to win the prize that he had won the year before. OpTic Gaming finished in 3rd place losing to the eventual winners of the tournament. They then played in Gfinity 1(G1) in London, United Kingdom and MLG Anaheim in Anaheim, California where they again placed 3rd respectively at both events. Their next event was to be G2 in London but with a new roster they disappointed with a low finish; however they bounced back a few weeks later at MLG Fullsail Invitational where the 4 highest ranked Call of Duty: Black Ops II teams which was to be OpTic Gaming and MLG's final event of Black Ops 2, OpTic Gaming went on to finish in 2nd place.

The next title of the Call of Duty franchise was to be [of Duty: Ghosts] which MLG again announced that it would be their featured FPS title; this was mainly down to the fact the huge audience that Call of Duty now pulls rather than the game being suited for competitve play. OpTic Gaming disappointed at both of their first two events before a massive roster change occurred which in the end resulted in 1 player retiring and 2 leaving whilst one was to rejoin. The new roster which was to be headed now by Haag qualified for the [of Duty: Ghosts]'s national qualifiers for the annual Call of Duty Championsip $1,000,000 tournaments after qualifying for the qualifier through MLG's online qualifying tournament.
