Nova Milanese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 13 kilometres (8.07 mi) north of Milan. As of 2010, it had a population of 23,152 and an area of 5.81 square kilometres (2.24 sq mi). It received the honorary title of city with a presidential decree. Nova Milanese borders the following municipalities: Cinisello Balsamo, Desio, Muggiò, Paderno Dugnano, Varedo.
