Grand Opening

The school began construction in 2007 and workers finished the building completely in June 2010. The first official meeting regarding the school was held in the Oakleaf Junior High cafeteria, and it was used to help parents with their questions.

Oakleaf High School is a massive high school, with a three story main building and a stadium on campus. An overpass was built nearby to accommodate the upcoming students and students' parents for the opening, and that was finished in Late June 2010.

The schools that are transferring students to Oakleaf are all from Clay County. The high schools that will be contributing are Orange Park High School, Middleburg High School, and Ridgeview High School. The main junior high that is contributing is Oakleaf Junior High, which is right next door to the high school.

The school's grand opening is August 16th, 2010 to students, and August 9th to faculty.
