Adobe Jensen is a typeface created for Adobe Systems by type designer Robert Slimbach. It is based on a roman typeface designed by Nicolas Jensen in 1470 in a style that would later be known as Venetian oldstyle. It was originally released as a multiple master font, and is now available as an OpenType® font.

The italic characters in this family are based on those by Ludovico Vicentino degli Arrighi.
