Over the summer of 2007 Davies worked with a band called Smokin Mother Nature which includes frontman Andrew Ashley, Bassist Jimmy Fox and Guitarist James Hogan.

He was hired as touring drummer by the heavy metal band Bloodsimple; the band includes Tim Williams (vocals), Kyle Sanders (bass), with Nick Rowe and Mike Kennedy playing guitar.
