Breakfast on Pluto (1998) is a novel by Irish writer Patrick McCabe. The book was shortlisted for the 1998 Booker Prize.

Set in 1960s to 1970s, the story tells Patrick 'Pussy' Braden's escape from small-town Tyreelin in Ireland and a drunk foster-mother, to find himself as a transvestite escort and cabaret singer in Piccadilly Circus, London. Ill luck surrounds him till he finds temporary contentment with a British politician who acts as a sugar daddy. The latter is killed by the IRA, leaving Pussy alone once again. Hustling in Piccadilly Circus, later he is arrested on suspicion of a bombing.

The story is adapted into movie in 2005, directed by Neil Jordan.
