Charles Bernard Nordhoff (1887 - 1947) was a U.S. (English-born) novelist and traveler. He was a collaborator with James Norman Hall.

he was the author with hall of mutiny on the bounty the book from which all the movies came from..actually it was three books called the "Bounty Trilogy". bligh in real life comes out better than they treated him..
