Appearance
Chrześcijańska Demokracja III Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Polish pronunciation: [xʃɛɕtɕiˈjaɲska dɛmɔˈkratsja ˈtʃɛtɕɛj ˌʒɛtʃɨpɔsˈpɔlʲitɛj ˈpɔlskʲɛj], ChD III RP or ChDRP, Polish for Christian Democracy of the 3rd Republic of Poland) is a now-defunct Polish political party created by former Solidarity leader and President of Poland Lech Wałęsa in 1998. Walesa stood as the party's candidate in the 2000 Polish presidential election, but received only 1% of the national vote. The ChDRP never managed to gain substantial support.
