Diva is a Philippine musical dramedy television series, developed by Don Michael Perez and directed by Dominic Zapata.[1] The series premiered on March 1, 2010 on GMA Network, starring Regine Velasquez, Rufa Mae Quinto, Mark Anthony Fernandez, TJ Trinidad and Glaiza de Castro.[2]The show is part of the GMA 60th Year Celebration Offering.

It has several cameos from Ogie Alcasid, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.[3]

It is aired internationally, with a two-day delay on GMA Pinoy TV in which the show premiered on March 3, 2010. [4]

Plot

Sampaguita a.k.a. Sam (Regine Velasquez), is an ugly woman who dreams of becoming a famous singer someday. After time to time she is suffering from insults. She then takes a surgery to become beautiful which is a success. She is being tortured by her enemy, Tiffany Mendoza in the series after she becomes beautiful. She then must face this challenge. This series is involved in the music industry.
