"Elke (live)" is a punk song by Die Ärzte. It's the twenty second track on CD2 and the only single from their 1999 live album Wir wollen nur deine Seele. "Die Schönen und das Biest" [The beauties and the beast] is only a part of the title of the single. The song is inspired by an overweight stalkerlike fan. The original song is from the album "Das ist nicht die ganze Wahrheit...". The song is from a concert at Rock am Ring (18.05.1996).
The video
The video is in animated and shows the band performing live, while a gigantic and monstrous girl-fan "attacks" band members with air kisses and such. They fight back until she hits the floor. It turns out, that she's still alive and now she's outraged. The monstrous fan is finally killed with a tank.
