Football is the number one sport in Djibouti. The country became a member of FIFA in 1994. But only recently the very small country took part in the qualifying rounds for the African Cup of Nations as well as the World Cup. In November 2007 Djibouti made their first ever win in an important game when Somalia was beaten 1-0 in the qualification for the World Cup 2010.
