Harpal Singh , more commonly known as Pala(Punjabi: ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ), (born 11 October, 1983) is an Sikh Hockeysportsman.He is currently in Indian Hockeyteam.[1]He is a Sabat Sikh as appears in the sikhism articles.[2]

Career

Harpal was stick to playing hockey from his childhood as his father was serious about this so he got selected in Namdhari Hockey Academy and started his career with Rajinder Singh Jr. as coach. He made his first break in International games in Hydrabad in year2003.[3],[4]Pala played Champions Trophy in Lahore in December 2004.He palyed in Pakistan series in September/October 2004, played in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in January 2004 at Kuala Lumpur.Harpal Had a tour to Australia in April 2004, Ireland and Germany respectively in July and August 2004 and also played in test series in India against Spain (November 2004) and with Netherlands (February 2004).
