"Hate That I Love You"
Song

"Hate That I Love You" is a song by Barbadian R&B/pop singer Rihanna, and it is the third single from her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad. (See 2007 in music). It features R&B singer Ne-Yo, who had worked with Rihanna on her 2006 hit "Unfaithful". On August 21, 2007, the song was released for radio airplay. The song is produced by StarGate, who also produced Unfaithful, Sexy Love by Ne-Yo and I Call It Love by Lionel Richie.

Song information

According to Billboard, the song is currently aimed towards R&B stations and it will be serviced to Top 40 radio stations after "Shut Up and Drive" has peaked the Top 40 radio.[1] However, it has already received significant airplay on many Top 40 stations, including Z100 in New York, KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, and Kiss-FM in Chicago.[2]

It also had been rumoured that "Don't Stop The Music" is the third single (debuting on BET's 106th & Park at the same time with "Shut Up and Drive" as what Beyoncé's "Upgrade U" and "Beautiful Liar" did) and video are already made for it but Rihanna confirmed that it was the first promotional single for the album and making "Hate That I Love You" as the third.
