Igor Vladimirovich Korneev (Russian: Игорь Владимирович Корнеев) (born 4 September 1967, in Moscow) is a former association footballer who played midfielder. Since 2002 he also holds Dutch citizenship. He last worked as a director of sports of FC Lokomotiv Moscow.
On the club level, Korneev has played for PFC CSKA Moscow (1987–91), RCD Espanyol (1991–94), FC Barcelona (1994–95), SC Heerenveen (1995–97), Feyenoord Rotterdam (1997–2002), NAC Breda (2002–2003). Korneev was named Sport-Express's Russian Footballer of the Year in 1991. He retired after the 2002 season with NAC Breda.
For Russia, Korneev has been capped 14 times, scoring 3 goals. Korneyev played for his country at the Euro 92 and 1994 World Cup.[1]
