It contradicts the earlier reference which confirms that Kellogg promoted bland foods as an antimasturbatory measure. Additionally he was in favor of circumcision in young boys as a deterrent, making it more difficult to masturbate, as well as putting carbolic acid on the clitoris of young girls.
