Lucia Stafford (born August 18, 1998) is a Canadian athlete.[1] Stafford's hometown is Toronto, Ontario.[1]

Personal life

Stafford's sister is Gabriela DeBues-Stafford who is also a national team runner.[1]

Career

In 2017, Stafford won gold at the 2017 Pan American U20 Athletics Championships in the 1500 m event.[1] At the 2019 Summer Universiade, Stafford finished in 5th in the 4x400 relay and in the 1500 m.[1]

In July 2021, Stafford was named to Canada's 2020 Olympic team in the women's 1500 m event.[2][3]
