Lyssa Chapman
Lyssa Rae Chapman-Galanti more commonly known as "Baby Lyssa" (born June 10, 1987 in Denver, Colorado) is an American bounty hunter who currently works with her father and stepmother, Duane "Dog" Chapman and Alice Elizabeth "Beth" Smith-Chapman (Dog Chapman's fifth wife) on the American television show Dog the Bounty Hunter. Her biological mother is Lyssa Rae Greene-Brittain (Dog Chapman's third wife) and is the ninth overall Chapman child (Including Duane Chapman's first son Christopher Michael and a premature child named Zebediah to his second wife, Anne M. Tegnell). She is the sister of Tucker Dee Chapman and the late Barbara Katie Chapman. She is also the half-sister of Leland Chapman and Duane Lee Chapman, II.
Born in Denver, Colorado, Lyssa was raised by her dad until she was 11. After that, Lyssa went to live with her mother in a small town in Alaska, and had no contact with her dad for 6 years. Lyssa had her first daughter, Abbie Mae (born June 11, 2002) the day after her 15th birthday. After turning 18, she moved out to Hawaii to be with her father and his family, joining her father as a bounty hunter and licensed bondsman. Lyssa became a licensed bounty hunter at age 19.
On Friday February 20, 2009 she married Brahman "Bo" Galanti (born 24 July 1973) at Lanikuhonua at Ko Olina, Oahu.[1] They have three daughters together. Abbie Mae Chapman, who was from a previous relationship of Lyssa (It was revealed in an interview during her second pregnancy that she was fourteen when Abbie was conceived and he was twenty-four at the time. He went to jail, for sexual abuse of a minor), Serena Galanti (from a former relationship of Bo, but she considers Serena as her own daughter and has thanked Serena's biological mother for going through labor and carrying her daughter for nine months) and on August 7, 2009 Madalynn Grace "Maddie" Chapman-Galanti was born.
in February 2011 Lyssa filed for divorce.
Lyssa stars regularly in seasons of Dog the Bounty Hunter.
