- Aira Harune (春音 あいら, Harune Aira)
- Voiced by: Kana Asumi
- Aira is a junior high school girl who one day was scouted by a man named Jun to be a Prism Star. She was born on September 3, 1997. She is very clumsy, naive, and not very good at sports, but she is very optimistic and considerate of others. Also, Aira is a huge fan of Mion, calling her "Mion-sama" for quite some time. She has a younger brother, Itsuki, who teases her and two little twin sisters, Uru and Eru, who always cheer her on. Aira's strongest suit is fashion, being very good at coordinating clothes and having the ability to hear them "sing", and she may have gotten her talent from her mother, Omi Harune, who formerly was a Prism Star Stylist. Her catchphrase is error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) She is a fan of clothes from "Prism Stone", a store run by Shō from Callings whom Aira has a crush on and it seems that they kissed in Episode 48 of Dear My Future. She claims that she loves Shō's designs, not him, though it is obvious to Rizumu and Mion that she does indeed like him. She had gone on a date with Shō to the fireworks festival. It is clear to Rizumu and Mion (and the audience) that she likes Shō. Her father tends to be overprotective of her, which is a running gag throughout the series, such as the odd fashions he forces on her and how he tries to keep Shō away from her. Aira's song is called "Dream Goes On" and was first heard in Episode 10. In the end she's going to NY with Sho and she became his girlfriend, in the future she's still designing with him but maybe she became his fiance.

But she is very good at dancing and attends a dance school for Prism Stars named "Pretty Top". She always tries to do her best and wants to become the Prism Queen to perform the "Aurora Rising" thinking that it will bring her mother back, the legendary Prism Queen Sonata Kanzaki, who disappeared after performing the legendary jump. She sometimes tries so hard that she forgets what the Prism Show is really about. She has orange hair and light brown eyes which is noted by Aira's mother to look exactly like how Sonata looked like when she was younger. She seems to be knowledgeable about love from a certain book of hers. It is very obvious that Hibiki is the one she thinks about, since she has feelings for him. She can easily become jealous and is interested in romance. She loves to eat basically anything and absolutely loves meat and chocolate. Her catchphrase is error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) In Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, Rizumu and Hibiki announced that they were getting married in Episode 28. - Mion Takamine (高峰 みおん, Takamine Mion)
- Voiced by: Azusa Kataoka
- Mion is a popular idol and model and is headstrong not an honest person, like Aira and Rizumu. Her father Pietro is an Italian-Japanese. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 3, 1997. At an early age she had been with her parents and wandered the world, and is currently home to live alone away from home in Japan. She doesn't stop at saying her thoughts out loud and can be stubborn sometimes too. She tries to act like an adult most of the time. In the beginning she thought that the Prism Show was a waste of her time until she saw Aira and Rizumu perform in the Tiara Cup. She got her motivation back. She is actually very lonely without her parents but tries not to show it. She has, however, warmed up to Aira and Rizumu after losing the Summer Queen Cup. She seems to like and admire Jun even though he is 10 years older than her. Her catchphrase is error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help) She has become great friends with Aira and Rizumu. She is actually afraid of dark places and ghosts or monsters. She had thought that Wataru was unreliable and depended more on Jun until he proved to her that he would protect her (looks like she is starting to see Wataru more as a man). Mion's song is called "Switch On My Heart" and was first heard in Episode 12. In the future, she became the President of Pretty Top and has Wataru working with her.

- Shō (ショウ)
- Voiced by: Takashi Kondō
- Shō is the leader of the boys idol unit group Callings. He has brown hair and violet eyes. He is also the designer of "Prism Stone", Aira's favorite shop. He is a reliable leader and tends to give Aira advice from time to time, even though he can snap sometimes. He is in his first year of high school along with Hibiki and Wataru. He finds Aira interesting. It is shown that when under pressure he can snap, like he did at Aira when she talked about his design for his upcoming deadline. He had asked and given Aira advice on what her dream really was. Shō kissed Aira's forehead in the first episode after she performed her very own Prism Jump, then fell on him, also in the last episode of Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future and they kissed in Episode 48 of Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. He is impressed by Aira's fashion sense and likes to tease her. He is actually afraid of dark places (Achluophobia) that surprised Aira and made her laugh. Shō has told Aira that he is in love with her in Episode 34, but won't act on his feelings as long as he is in Callings. Their love continued in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future.
- Shō's Prism Jumps in Aurora Dream are "Infinite Hugs" (ムゲンハグ, Mugen Hagu) (Episode 10) and "L-O-O-K" (マ・ナ・ザ・シ, Ma-na-za-shi) (Episode 30).

- Hibiki is a part of the idol group Callings together with Shō and Wataru. He has blue hair and brown eyes. He is in his first year of high school. He likes to tease Rizumu and give her advices. It is revealed that his younger sister is Tōdō Kanon, who beat Aira and Rizumu in the Summer Queen Cup. He also gave Rizumu advice when she wanted to win the Tiara Cup and stopped having fun. He is very nice to everyone and is seen to be with Rizumu when she is eating. He and Rizumu even have a secret place (later in the episodes at the same spot proposed Rizumu's dad). Hibiki is the only member of Callings to have his surname revealed, since he is the biological brother of Kanon. He also shows love interest in Rizumu and said that he liked Rizumu better with a smile. He is always stuck with Rizumu and Kanon arguing over him (love triangle). In Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, Hibiki and Rizumu announced that they were getting married in Episode 28. They got married in Episode 51.
- Hibiki's Prism Jumps are "Shooting Star Spiral" (シューティングスタースパイラル, Shūtingu Sutā Supairaru) (Episode 10) and "Sweet-Sweet Whisper" (スウィートスウィートウィスパー, Suwīto Suwīto Wisupā) (Episode 30).

- Voiced by: Nobuhiko Okamoto
- Wataru is also a part of Callings together with Hibiki and Shō. He is in his first year of high school. He has red hair and green eyes. He thinks of himself as Mion's older brother. Despite his cute appearance, he is actually very good at studying and helped Rizumu to overcome her problem with her schoolwork. He enjoys working as an idol with Shō and Hibiki which he has told Mion. He told her that he would protect her when they went into a dark place on Halloween together which Rizumu thought was the beginning of their love. He develops a lot of feelings for Mion throughout the series. He tells her to depend more on him, despite his childish looks, he can be serious, trustworthy and knows when Mion is having troubles (so he always comes and cheers her up). He's not shown so much in the anime but when he is, he's always shown together with Mion. He sees himself as Jun's rival.

- Voiced by: Susumu Chiba
- Jun is the person who scouted Aira. He seems to know about what will happen in the future and can see star aura. Jun believes that Aira, Rizumu and Mion were all destined to be with each other. He is usually seen with President Asechi. Jun recites poems that Aira and Rizumu are clueless about while only Mion seems to understand what they stand for. He is 24 years old and seems to be the object of Mion's love. Jun seems to have understood why Aira was doing so well in Episode 3's Prism Show by calling it "youth". He seems to like to hint that something will happen later on. In Episode 26, Jun had Aira, Rizumu and Mion make a huge gyoza for the president so that she would be rejected at the marriage interview for having a weird smell. When the girls presented the big dumpling to the president, he replied saying "It's a Takigawa joke". Jun is actually not siblings with Asechi Kyōko as Kei adopted him as her own son after his parents died in an accident, and with this fact in mind, he proposes to Asechi Kyōko during Tōdō Hibiki and Amamiya Rizumu's wedding.

She is 34 years old and it is later revealed that she was planning on getting married with someone before but he ran away before the ceremony. It is unknown about who the man was though. It is also revealed that she too once participated in the Prism Show and fought against Sonata Kanzaki. Kyōko won the first round but couldn't do the Aurora Rising which made Sonata the Prism Queen. She usually tries to raise the amount of money "Pretty Top" makes and doesn't actually let Aira and Rizumu rest often. Kyōko was very worried about what would happen to Rizumu if she had done Aurora Rising. At first it was said that Kyōko is half siblings with Jun, born by the same mother but different father. But later, in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, it is discovered that Jun was actually adopted by Kyōko's mother, Kei. She always has a money sign in her eyes when she has another idea of making money. Throughout the series, Penguin Teacher acts strangely and tries to get his face in cameras and in TV shows. In Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, it is also revealed that he's also June's partner in the past, prior before the events of the series before he left her (and became the teacher in "Pretty Top"). There are rumors that Hiro's debut song is written by Kōji, this caused him to quit "Edel Rose Academy" and transfer to Kazuki's dance school. Naru, Ann and Hiro's My Song are written by Kōji. According to Kazuki, he can also dance. Naru seems to have some romantic interest in him, although she at times seems too dense to see him as a boy. She addresses him as Kōji-kun,[4] as she seems to look up to him following his writing her My Song. Ito also seems to have feelings for him, although she hides them, for the most part, extremely well. But Kōji had gave the song "pride" to Hiro, instead of Ito's song. He kept it since she had ran away after that and used her song to make a love letter for her. So in other words, Kōji has feelings for Ito but she doesn't realize it until Naru tells her.
