Patti Solis Doyle

Patti Solis Doyle (born 1965) is an American political operative and was the campaign manager for the Hillary Rodham Clinton presidential campaign, 2008 until February 10, 2008, when she was replaced by Maggie Williams. [1]

Doyle was a member of "Hillaryland" and was the first Hispanic woman to manage a presidential campaign.[2]

Profile

Solis Doyle is the oldest child of six siblings. Her parents, Santiago and Alejandrina Solis, were originally illegal immigrants from Monterrey, Mexico (he was deported twice), and she grew up in the Chicago area where she attended Northwestern University. Her oldest brother Daniel Solis is Chicago alderman for the 25th ward.[3] She entered politics working on Richard M. Daley's campaign for Mayor of Chicago. Later she went with David Wilhelm (Bill Clinton's campaign manager) from Chicago to Little Rock, where she became Hillary Rodham Clinton's assistant. She is executive director of HillPac and ran Clinton's campaign for the United States Senate election in New York, 2000. She is married to Jim Doyle, a Harvard Law School graduate.
