Peter Howitt

Peter Howitt (born May 5, 1957 in Manchester) is an English actor and film director. Has 1 son named Luke.

He first found success playing Joey Boswell in the British TV series Bread. In 1998 he wrote and directed his first film, Sliding Doors (1998). Since then he has directed several films, including AntiTrust (2001), Johnny English (2003) and Laws of Attraction (2004). His latest film Dangerous Parking (2007) which he wrote, produced, directed and stars as Noah Arkwright will be released in 2007. It is based on the novel by Stuart Browne.

He runs the British film production company Flaming Pie Films with film producer Richard L. Johns
