The Pirate Party of Iceland (Icelandic: Píratar) is a registered political party in Iceland. The party was founded in 2012, it included one existing MP Birgitta Jónsdóttir. The party also includes several internet activists including Smári McCarthy. This marks the first time the Pirate Party runs for elections in Iceland.
