The Pittsburgh Quidditch Club is an amatuer, Muggle quidditch club based in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The team is currently recognized by the International Quidditch Association as a community club located in the Northeastern United States region.
Founded in August 2008, PQC was founded as a student-organization originally affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh, but broke away from the school's affiliation that fall to branch out to more of the area.
The team's most notable accomplishment was their semifinal run in the 2010 IQA World Cup[1], where the club finished third-overall, after earning a first-seed by the IQA.[2]
