Sweethead

Sweethead is a US rock band formed in 2008 by Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and new-on-the-scene lead vocalist Serrina Sims. Norm Block and Eddie Nappi from Mark Lanegan Band round out the group.

History

The band's name is inspired by the David Bowie B-side "Sweethead". The band’s first EP is titled The Great Disruptors and was released on July 13, 2009. It included a cover of The Kinks' "Tired of Waiting for You" which can also be downloaded for free at the band's website. The band released their first studio album produced by Troy on November 02, 2009. [1]
