SCE San Diego Studio (internally abbreviated SD Studio[1]) is a video game development team part of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios responsible for annual NBA and MLB sports titles. They are also known for other games, such as The Mark of Kri, Pain, High Velocity Bowling, and Sports Champions.

Internal studios

  • Red Zone Interactive and 989 Sports have merged into SD Studio.
  • Idol Minds and Team Ramrod are development studios based inside San Diego studio. They developed and continue to maintain Pain and High Velocity Bowling, respectively.
