Scramdisk is a free OTFE (On-The-Fly Encryption) program for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows Me. A non-free version was also available for Windows NT.

Scramdisk is no longer maintained; it's author (Shaun Hollingworth) having joined Paul Le Roux (the author of the E4M) to produce ScramDisk's commercial successor, DriveCrypt. Although ScramDisk's source code is still available, this was only ever released (and licenced) for private study only and not for further development.

Free alternatives to ScramDisk exist, such as CrossCrypt, FreeOTFE and TrueCrypt.
