The discography of Shakira, a Colombian Latin pop singer, consists of seven studio albums, three compilation albums, three live albums and two promotional albums. Shakira has also released thirty singles, two EPs, thirty-five music videos and three music DVDs.

Shakira wrote her first song when she was eight years old, and soon after gained some recognition around her home town Barranquilla through various events. She recorded her first promotional album, Magia, in 1990 at the age of thirteen. In 1993, she recorded a second and more well-received promotional album, Peligro.

Shakira released the single "¿Dónde Estás Corazón?" in January 1994, and it peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart. This was followed by Shakira's first official Spanish studio album Pies Descalzos, released on February 13, 1996. It debuted at number one in 8 different countries and sold 5 million copies worldwide. In the U.S., the album reached number five on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, but on the main Billboard 200, it only reached #180. The album spawned further singles "Estoy Aquí", "Pies Descalzos, Sueños Blancos", "Un Poco de Amor", "Antología" and "Se Quiere, Se Mata". On October 21, 1997, The Remixes was released.

Her second Spanish studio album, ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones?, was released on September 28, 1998. It debuted at #131 in the U.S. and sold 10 million copies worldwide. Seven of the album's eleven tracks became singles: "Ciega, Sordomuda", "", "Inevitable", "Octavo Día", "Moscas En La Casa", "No Creo" and "Ojos Así". Shakira's first live album, MTV Unplugged, was released on February 29, 2000, and reached number one on the U.S. Top Latin Albums chart.

Shakira's first English-Spanish language studio album was Laundry Service, released on November 13, 2001. The album became the best-selling album of 2002, selling more than 20 million copies worldwide.[1][2] It peaked at number three in the U.S., number two in the UK Albums Chart and number one in many other countries. Seven tracks became international singles: "Whenever, Wherever", "Underneath Your Clothes", "Objection (Tango)", "The One", "Poem to a Horse" (in live version), "Te Dejo Madrid" and "Que Me Quedes Tú". Her second compilation album, Grandes Éxitos, was released on November 5, 2002, and reached number one on the U.S. Hot Latin Tracks chart. This was followed by Live & off the Record, which featured a DVD, released on March 30, 2004.

Fijación Oral Vol. 1 was released on June 3, 2005; her third Spanish studio album sold 4 million copies worldwide. It debuted at number four in the U.S. and was certified 2x Platinum, becoming one of the best-selling Spanish-language albums in the country. The album had five singles: "La Tortura", "No", "Día De Enero", "La Pared" and "Las de la Intuición". Her second English-language studio album, Oral Fixation Vol. 2, was released on November 29, 2005, and sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. The album had three singles: "Don't Bother", "Hips Don't Lie" and "Illegal". A compilation of the two volumes of Oral Fixation was released in December 2006 as Oral Fixation Volumes 1&2. On November 13, 2007, the Oral Fixation Tour DVD was released, featuring live performances from her Oral Fixation Tour.

Shakira released her third English language studio album, She Wolf, in October 2009, featuring the first single "She Wolf". The second single released, "Did It Again". In the US, the second single was "Give It Up to Me" and includes exclusive US bonus content.

Shakira has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide.[2][3]
