Sime Darby Football Club is a football club from Malaysia which represents and are backed by Sime Darby, one of Malaysia's largest conglomerates. The team currently compete in the Malaysia Super League after qualifying for automatic promotion at 2nd place in the 2013 Malaysia Premier League.

History
Sime Darby FC was formed on 22 January 2010, and is backed by the Sime Darby Group, Malaysia's largest multinational conglomerates. The team was officially launched on 4 March 2010 and currently plays their home games at the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang Stadium.
Sime Darby FC will compete in the 2014 Malaysia Super League after securing second place in the 2013 Malaysia Premier League.
Sime Darby FC finished undefeated champions of the 2010 Malaysia FAM Cup in its debut season, clinching promotion to the Malaysia Premier League, the second tier professional football league in Malaysia.
In its maiden season in the 2011 Malaysia Premier League, Sime Darby F.C. finished fifth out of twelve teams. For the 2011 season, Sime Darby F.C. played at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. Sime Darby F.C. then beat Malaysia Super League team Pahang FA 6–0 on aggregate to qualify for their first ever Malaysia Cup tournament. For the 2012 Malaysia Premier League, Sime Darby FC finished third behind champions ATM and second placed Pahang.
Sime Darby FC is the first club in history to enter the Malaysian FA Cup final, which they managed in 2012. The final was played between Sime Darby FC and Kelantan FA at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday, 19 May, in which Sime Darby FC lost 0–1. The club's meteoric rise has garnered Sime Darby FC much support from the Malaysian football fraternity with the valiant display against Kelantan who were overwhelming favourites to win the match.
In 2013, Sime Darby FC qualified to the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup for the first time, where the club lost 3–1 on aggregate to Sarawak.
