  • curprev 12:4312:43, 1 November 2023JBW talk contribs 47,880 bytes 0 I have only ever come across the expression "decimal point" as meaning the mark which separates the whole number part of a number from the fractional part, whereas here it is used to refer to the figures after that mark. On searching I have found that the second meaning is occasionally used, mainly in unreliable sources, but the other meaning is overwhelmingly the usual one. I am therefore substituting "decimal places"; "decimall figures" would also be OK.
