Better pictures
Archie has changed a lot through time. The pictures in the article depict a retty old archie. A few newer pictures could be pasted from www.archiecomics.com -Parth
- yup, add some new ones. but still keep the old ones, 'cause they're part of the history of archie.HoneyBee

Where is Veronica? I see Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Moose Mason & Reggie Mantle. -- Comic Book Guy
Archie TV Pilot
There is another Archie TV adaptation I'm surprised to see isn't mentioned in the article: a sitcom pilot was made in the 50s. I saw it on tape many years ago and remember almost nothing about it except that it starred William Schallert from The Patty Duke Show as Archie's dad.
- I checked the imdb, I couldn't find the show nor William Schallert's character. Are you sure about the show? I never heard of it. Maybe you should make an article about it, that would be great. Don't forget to put to the sources. HoneyBee 09:33, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- The pilot is on Youtube. Not sure how much info (if any) is available on the web. Oldiesmann 00:23, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Name?
I've noticed Archie's full name being reverted to "Archivald" instead of "Archibald" more than once. In every story I've read and article about Archie, it has always been "Archibald". Is this a joke or something? I understand the v and b are next to each other on US keyboards... Flowertea 08:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- either ppl don't have a clue that his real name is Archibald and probably think it's a joke for "Archi-Bald", they thought his name might be with 'v'. or maybe it just a typo...or maybe vandal. the best thing to do is to put source next to his name. maybe from his official website. Chick? When was he called "Chick"? And why does most of this stuff look like copy-and-paste from a couple other sites on the Internet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.89.0.47 (talk) 19:36, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Info re Chick: It was unfortunately deleted from the article three years ago. Now reinstated. Pepso2 (talk) 20:45, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Car
I think it should be mentioned that his new car is clearly a Ford Mustang. It has the Mustang symbol on the front and says Ford on it. http://www.spiritus-temporis.com/archie-andrews-(comics)/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.232.189.4 (talk) 17:49, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
In one issue they do imply it's a mustang. Betty and Veronica go back in time to the old west and meet Archie's ancestor who's horse is a MUSTANG named Betsy. They show Archie's convertible with writing on it saying 'Betsy' (even though that was the name for Archie's last car). They are imply both have a mustang named Betsy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SecretName101 (talk • contribs) 01:25, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

"Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, Pierce-Arrow, Packard, DeSoto, Hudson ..." explaining that his jalopy was "a collection of replacement parts from several junkyards", some of which dated back to 1926.
Just so you know, I can verify this. I own an issue which features this comic. Archie ends up leaving the agency embarrassed, when a antique car collector tells him that he likes the car and he's worried it would get damaged if Archie drives it, but that part doesn't matter. What's important is that the issue exists. I'll go ahead and check if those were Archie's exact words. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SecretName101 (talk • contribs) 01:21, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
Fartchie?
I'm not sure where, but somewhere I read or watched a parody of Archie starring:
Fartchie, Fuckhead, Slutty, Veronicunt, Dildoton, Ass and Splooge, etc.
It was gross and funny. If anybody knows, cite sources, include in article?

Original Jalopy
In the newspaper comic trip from 1946, Archie's car is described by a valet as a 1917 model. This article states that it's a 1916. It's certainly possible that it was referred to as a 1916 somewhere else. I wonder if anyone could tell based on the design - were there any differences from one year to the next? 174.89.30.53 (talk) 03:46, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
