Changes I have made

I added to the trivia section that Kaladze has never played at the World Cup finals; I have also edited the trivia section by changing "fellow teammate Andriy Shevchenko scored", a tautology, to "Milan teammate Andriy Shevchenko scored".--Paidgenius 16:44, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia sections aren't really encouraged Spiderone (talk) 17:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mythological story

Just heard quite a tale. Kaladze begged Berlusconi to speak with Putin about the Georgian conflict and after a 5 hour long discussion Putin took back his troops. Anybody else heard this story?

It probably came from here http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2008/0901/georgia.html Spiderone (talk) 12:23, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yushenko

I removed this from the main article but I'll leave it here if anyone wants it:

In November 2008, Ukrainian newspapers reported that Kaladze and then-team mate Andriy Shevchenko were questioned about the poisoning of Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko. This was in addition to Andrey Gusin's interview about his connection with Tamaz Tsintsabidze, a witness of the event.[1][2] Milan later released a statement denying this claim.[2][3] - Spiderone (talk) 15:17, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

This review is transcluded from Talk:Kakha Kaladze/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Review will start sometime today. Wizardman 15:19, 28 October 2009 (UTC) Alright, here's finally the review. Here's the thing I noticed that needs fixing:[reply]

  • "where his father was president, until former Georgia international David Kipiani requested that he join Dinamo Tbilisi." Georgia international what? or is that proper jargon in football?
I added "footballer" Spiderone 21:34, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The Ukrainian club had been under the ownership of Hryhoriy Surkis and the late Valeriy Lobanovskyi had just been installed as manager, they were in the process of winning eight consecutive league titles." The punctuation/wording doesn't seem right here. Sentence sounds wrong when i say it in my head.
Not sure if this is better Spiderone 21:34, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • "At first, Kaladze was tried in different positions and faced competition for places from players such as Jaap Stam and Cafu." Being specific on the positions those two competed with him in would help.
Added it was defence Spiderone 21:34, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • The 2002-03 season is the first mentioned in the article but the infobox says he started in 2001. An information on that first season, or is that where the competition above is from?
  • "On 4 September 2006, he extended his contract with Milan until 2011." Terms of the contract would be a nice touch if you can find it anywhere.
  • The last personal life paragraph feels out of place. Granted, I don't know where else you could put it or combine it in.
I shoved it in somewhere Spiderone 21:34, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • There's a few instances where commas are used instead of periods or semicolons. I think I caught them all, but double-check.

I'll put it on hold for a few days and pass when this is all handled. Wizardman 01:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good. The one thing above not touched was just something extra if needed, it's not required for GA. As a result, I'm passing this article. Wizardman 16:00, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
