Requested move 2010

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Page Not Moved, Since this request a third James Rodríguez page has been created, thus causing James Rodríguez to be changed from a redirect to a dab page for all three.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 01:27, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

James Davíd RodríguezJames Rodríguez — No need for the middle name, which is spelled incorrectly since the I in David is not accented in Spanish. "James Rodríguez" currently is a redirect to James Roday since that is his real name, although it is unlikely that actor is know by his real name or it is spelled with an accent in Rodriguez. —Digirami (talk) 23:58, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, There must be also a mention somewhere to the fact that he wants to be called "JAMES" as is written in Spanish and not as is normally pronounced in english . --Jor70 (talk) 00:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article Issues

Perusing the introduction and the "style of play" section, this article has some serious issues. It reads as an incredibly biased, unencyclopedic account written by a fan. The use of goal.com and bleacher report as references is also a concern, particularly the same article being linked a number of times. I'd like to know what you think. Native to Ibague?

"Born in Cucutá, James is native of the city of Ibagué,"

How come? If he was born in Cucuta, then he is a "native" of Cucuta. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.87.19.206 (talk) 03:20, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:35, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

James grew comparisons to that of a 'South American counterpart' of Cristiano Ronaldo should be changed to James was sometimes described as a "South American counterpart" to Cristiano Ronaldo

At the least, grew should be drew. LessonzX (talk) 20:37, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

please change "...during only a 3-year slit." to "...during only a 3-year stint." because it's more appropriate word. 78.151.197.213 (talk) 10:33, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done - well almost - I chose to reword the whole sentence, not just change the one word, so it made more sense. - Arjayay (talk) 12:21, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Care to look at the article? Kante4 (talk) 19:16, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So, 90€ or 80€ Million?

We have this sentence in the opening "Rodríguez moved from Monaco to Real Madrid for a transfer fee of €90 million", backed by a ref of BBC.

Then in the Real Madrid section, "Rodríguez signed a 6-year contract with Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around €79.5 million.", backed by several websites.

One of them should change, in my opinion.–HD Ask, comment, talk! 00:32, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
