Rename

[edit]

At some point this was moved from St Clement Danes -> St. Clement Danes. I had a go at fixing some of the redirects this causes in acres of articles that link to this one. However, all the other churches in central London similarly omit the abbrev. mark. The name change makes this particular church stick out in lists, and not conform to the standard adopted by all the others. The question then, is which way forward? Rename this back, to conform; rename all the others to conform to this standard? Leave it and live with the redirects?

Any thoughts? Cheers Kbthompson (talk) 14:04, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, just tried to add a mention of this church in the novel 1984 and cite it. Had some trouble with it. Maybe someone could take a look when they have a chance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.11.112.251 (talk) 18:21, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

'Island Church'

[edit]

From the article: "It is known as one of the two 'Island Churches, the other being St Mary le Strand", a sentence repeated on that article also, yet neither article explains what this means? Grunners (talk) 19:52, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
